we booked our stay in big sur at the glen oaks little sur cabins.
glen oaks has a few cottages nestled in the redwood forest,
right up against the big sur river. our little cabin was one small room
with a private fire pit right outside our door, surrounded by redwoods and clover.
we got to the cabin at around 4pm, went back out to go for a small hike
up to pfeiffer falls, which we reached right before dark (hence no good pictures).
when we got back to camp sebastian lit a fire and grilled us steak,
roasted veggies and bread on a little camper stove.
it was a rustic but easy and relaxing night away.
