last weekend we took a trip out to promised land state park,
which is in the fern-covered poconos mountains in pennsylvania.
sebastian reserved the little cabin months and months ago--
only 12 cabins (of 200 in the state) allow dogs, and ours was one of them.
poppy showed how grateful she was by being a very good dog,
and spent lots of time frolicking in the ferns and taking long swims in the little lake.
mark came along, and did a lot of superb cooking. he even taught us how to whittle
a wooden spoon from a found pine log. (more on that later!)
