so here's a great thing: cooking classes at eat in greenpoint.
they happen most mondays, and last night mccall and i went to one to
learn how to make condiments: mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup,
bbq sauce, tartar sauce. the class is taught by one of eat's chefs, and includes
dinner that has been prepared by him/her, all for $45.
last night's class felt almost private, just me, mccall and a nice older local man.
i'm definitely going to drag sebastian to the "pizza and soudough" class next monday,
and definitely think its a great thing to keep in mind for a party or group gathering.
oh, and the ketchup is the best i've ever tasted.
