last weekend sebastian, poppy and i took the metro north
(yes, poppy can take the metro north!) to beacon, ny to visit rachel and brent
in brent's amazing white house overlooking the hudson.
beacon greeted us with all of its old-commuter town charm,
and brent greeted us with pickled radishes and pickled grapes.
we walked to the river, strolled the charming mile-long main street,
went to an amazing show at the falcon,
and brent played lots of piano while sebastian played lots of guitar.
it was a pleasant and relaxing escape from the city.
we were so very excited to learn that metro north is poppy-friendly,
and will absolutely be putting similar adventures on the books soon.
